Story

I started on this cosplay in March of 2022. I was finishing my bachelors degree and had very little time. March to May were my last few months living in New York before moving to Utah, extremely chaotic time in my life. I managed to create the brown dress underneath everything before moving and add a few details. These are shown in the beginning of my part one video! When I moved to Utah, it was very hard keeping my cosplay materials organized since I had to get rid of all of my storage from my craft area in New York. However, after a bit I returned to this project. I particularly found the pleated red details on the skirt, the gloves, and the front of the “corset” difficult. There was certainly no guidance online about how to accomplish the corset. The gloves, I just was terrible at. I remade the hand part seven times. I decided to make the forearm and hand pieces separate, simply so I could eat endless greasy con foods and not have to remove my entire arm piece. There are snaps inside to keep everything in tact when I’m not indulging in pizza and burgers. This was finished in the first two weeks of September! At the final due time (9/9/22) I don’t feel it’s complete in full, so I plan to clean it up more.
